二者皆可以。考试时候注意以下两种格式。

英文文章开头有两种可以选择：

1、每段开头空两格，段落之间不空行。

2、每段开头顶格写，段落之间空行。

两种都可以，但是空格与不空格不能混用，第一种用的比较多，第二种有点浪费格子。新课标中，大部分时候文章的开头一般空格，开头字母必须大写！对于旧教材，对开头空不空格没有具体要求，所以二者皆可。
