PEP版小学英语五年级上册,第四单元《Story time》故事讲述了老鼠是如何利用智慧蛇口逃生的。故事简单,语言也非常好掌握,学生们还进行了妙趣横生角色表演。我看他们兴趣正浓,马上推出了我准备的绘本故事:The Lion & the Mouse 狮子和老鼠,并故弄玄虚:“这只聪明的老鼠不但戏耍了蛇,还跟森林之王狮子也交过锋,你们想知道结果如何吗?”答案当然是肯定的!一场绘本的奇幻之旅就这样开始了!

一 、边欣赏图边聆听阶段

为了充分调动学生的积极性和好奇心,把小本的原版英语儿童绘本放大,做成了色彩绚丽,图画优美的超级大书,绝对是小朋友在平时的生活中见不到的形式。然后由我带领学生一起读故事,并播放绘本故事的原音音频。我用夸张的语言和表情演绎,加上原声抑扬顿挫的语调,把学生们彻底带进故事当中。当我把幻灯片放给学生看时,学生们一下就被图片所吸引,即使在听的过程中孩子有些不认识的单词,那也不会成为孩子阅读理解文章的绊脚石。
